Kevin Rooney begins his fifth year at Endicott, his first as Head Athletic Trainer. Rooney also is in his fifth year as an adjunct instructor at Endicott College. A graduate of Quinnipiac University, Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with a specialty in Athletic Training. He went on to graduate with distinction from California University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training. Kevin is a certified and licensed member of both the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Massachusetts Athletic Trainers Association. He also holds certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This year, Kevin is also creating a recreational exercise program in collaboration with Life Choices, a local program for adults with mental and physical disabilities. This program has developed a good community connection while providing senior Athletic Training students the unique opportunity to work with the participating adults.
