Of the 42 Gulls represented, four of them received CCC Player of the Year honors in their respective sports, while 16 were named All-Conference.  Those four Player of the Year recipients were baseball Pitcher of the Year JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.), men’s lacrosse Short Stick Specialist of the Year Peter Erickson (Yarmouth, Maine), women’s lacrosse Player of the Year Callie Murphy (Woburn, Mass.) and softball’s Pitcher of the Year Nell O’Connor (Harwich, Mass.).

Of the eight spring and winter sports at Endicott that participate in the CCC, the Gulls were the leading team represented on the All-Academic Team in women’s basketball (seven), men’s golf (tied with four) and softball (nine).  Baseball (five), men’s basketball (three), men’s lacrosse (two), women’s lacrosse (eight) and men’s tennis (four) all put forth impressive numbers as well.

For the year, the CCC has now honored 96 Endicott student-athletes with Academic All-Conference awards as the Gulls brought home 54 in the fall semester.  For the spring semester, the average GPA of All-Academic Team members was a 3.54.  In addition, 36 members of the football team and three members of the men’s volleyball teams received All-Academic Team honors from their respective conferences, the NEFC and NECC.  Those additions bring the total number of All-Academic representatives to 135 for the 2013-14 academic year.
