BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott sophomore Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Libero of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon.

Last week, Ruel anchored the Endicott defense during a 2-1 stretch in which she led the team in digs in every match. The sophomore posted double-digit dig totals in all three matches, averaging 4.00 digs/set throughout the week. Endicott's two wins came via a pair of 3-0 sweeps to remain undefeated in CCC play, first with a sweep of WNE, before producing the same result in a sweep of Wentworth. Ruel recorded 11 digs in the sweep of WNE and 12 in the sweep of Wentworth, while picking up 13 in the setback to Emerson in non-conference action.

This is Ruel's third CCC Libero of the Week honor of the season.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (16-7, 7-0 CCC) is on the road for their final four matches of the regular season this week, starting with Curry on Tuesday, Wheaton on Thursday, and Gordon and Plymouth State, in Wenham, Mass., on Saturday.
