Women's Soccer Finishes Out Regular Season With 1-1 Tie Against UNE

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie against the University of New England on Tuesday evening in conference action at Hempstead Stadium.

The Gulls started the scoring just out of halftime, as Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) drilled her fourth of the season at the 46:04 mark to put the Gulls in front.

However, the lead was short-lived, as the Nor'Easters knotted the score just two minutes later with a tally of their own.

The game remained a 1-1 back-and-forth battle until the final whistle sounded, bringing an end to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) regular season play.

  • The Gulls hold the advantage in the all-time series with a record of 18-5-2.
  • Reigning CCC Defensive Player of the Week Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) compiled seven saves in the match, ending her regular season with a record of 10-4-4.
  • Endicott finishes first in the CCC with a goals allowed average of 0.59.
