Women's Soccer, Western New England Play To Scoreless Tie

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Endicott women's soccer team played to a scoreless tie against Western New England at Suprenant Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Gulls outshot the Golden Bears 23-4 in the match, but Golden Bears goalkeeper Molly McLaughlin (Guilford, Conn.) held them scoreless, collecting a total of 10 saves.

The Endicott defense allowed just four shots, with only two on net, both saved by Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.)

Grace Jewett (Millis, Mass.) led the way for the Blue and Green on offense with four shots (two on net).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The two teams entered today's match with the one and two seeds in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).
  • The Gulls are 15-5-3 all-time against the Golden Bears.
  • With the shutout today, the Endicott defense secured its 11th of the season.

Endicott (10-4-3, 4-0-3 CCC) hosts UNE on Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00 PM for its final match of the regular season. WNE (9-3-3, 6-1-1 CCC) travels to Hartford on Tuesday at 4:00 PM.
