Women’s Soccer Downs Suffolk, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's soccer team shut out Suffolk, 3-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

Grace Jewett (Millis, Mass.), Madison English (Ashland, Mass.), and Alexandria Dostie (Essex Junction, Vt.) all found the back of the net in the victory ('15, '65, '80).

The Gulls controlled play throughout the matchup outshooting their counterparts, 23-4.

Endicott also held an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.

In goal, Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) recorded her fourth clean sheet of the season (6-2-0 overall).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 3-0-1 in the all-time series.
  • The Gulls have yet to concede a goal against Suffolk (5-0 scoring differential).
  • Jewett potted her seventh career goal (first this season).
  • English registered her first career marker.
  • Dostie eluded two defenders to bury her sixth career goal (first this season).
  • Lily Miller (Warwick, R.I.) dished out her first career assist on English's second half tally.
  • Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) notched her seventh career assist (first this season) to help the Gulls open up the scoring in the contest.
  • Endicott recorded its sixth shutout of the season (outscoring opponents 19-3).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (6-2-0, 2-0-0 CCC) hosts Wheaton on Tuesday, September 26 at 7 PM. Suffolk (5-2-1, 1-1-0 CCC) takes on Fisher this coming Tuesday at 7 PM.
