Gulls Shut Out Wellesley For Third Straight Victory

WELLESLEY, Mass. — The Endicott women's soccer team shut out Wellesley, 3-0, en route to its third straight win of the season on Wednesday afternoon.

Ella Morgan (Salem, Mass.) began the scoring in the 13th minute with a rocket from 30 yards out for her first goal of the 2023 campaign.

The Blue and Green added some insurance early in the second half as Samantha Klimas (North Andover, Mass.) tallied her third goal of the season in the 53rd minute to follow up her stellar two-goal performance against Carthage on September 3.

Eliza Walker (Marshfield, Mass.) capped the scoring in the 65th minute (first of the season).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott posted its third consecutive shutout with Wednesday's win, yet to allow a goal on the season (outscoring opponents 12-0 on the 2023 campaign)
  • Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) improved her record to 3-0-0 on the season with one save in the contest.
  • Twenty-nine different Gulls saw playing time in the match.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (3-0-0) will travel to Brunswick, Maine on Sunday, September 10 to take on the Bowdoin Polar Bears (0-0-1) at 2:30 PM. Wellesley (1-1-0) visits SUNY Delhi this Sunday at 1 PM.
