#3 Endicott to Host #6 Salve Regina in CCC Quarterfinal Matchup

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced the 2016 women's soccer tournament pairings and as a result of a 7-2 record in conference play, Endicott has earned the third seed in the eight team field.

The Gulls, who are 12-3-2 overall, will host sixth seeded Salve Regina on Saturday at 7:00 p.m., after the Seahawks finished 3-4-2 in CCC play and 8-7-3 overall. The Gulls defeated the Seahawks 1-0 on October 8 in the regular season match between the two squads as Sharlotte Pernice (West Springfield, Mass.) scored with 2:17 left in regulation.

Roger Williams earned the top seed in the tournament by finishing with a 7-0-2 record in league play and will host eighth seeded Gordon at 11:00 a.m. Wentworth received the two seed after finishing with the same record against conference foes but losing the second tiebreaker, and will play host to seventh seeded Western New England at 3:00 p.m. The University of New England earned the fourth seed and will host fifth seeded Curry at noon to round out the Quarterfinal action.

The semifinals will be hosted on Tuesday at the highest remaining seeds while the finals will be played on Saturday at a site and time to be determined.
