Beverly, MA -- Endicott College announced that Jodi Kenyon has accepted the head women's soccer coach position. Kenyon comes to Endicott with a wealth of collegiate coaching experience to replace Dina Gentile, who is stepping aside after 11 very successful seasons.
Kenyon was the head coach at the University of Vermont from 1997 through 2003, where her teams compiled a record of 41-78-7. In 2004, she worked with the Far Post Soccer club of Burlington, VT. Prior to her stint at Vermont she was an assistant for four seasons at Harvard with teams that won two Ivy crowns and collected 37 wins. She began her coaching career at her alma mater, Adelphi University (Garden City, NY), where she was an assistant for three seasons immediately after her playing career ended.
"We are really excited to get a coach of Jodi's caliber to join our staff," commented Endicott athletic director, Larry Hiser. "She will bring the experience and energy necessary to keep our women's soccer program at a very high level. Yet we are convinced of her commitment to the `student-first' philosophy of Division III."
Kenyon officially joins the Endicott staff on July 6th.
