Morris, Moritz Claim CCC Weekly Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) and Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) have been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player and Goalie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Morris scored two goals and dished out three assists for five points in a 2-0-0 week for the Gulls.

On Friday she potted the overtime game-winner against UNE and had the lone assist on Teaghan Hall's (West Springfield, Mass.) game-tying goal.

The following day she added one goal and two helpers (one primary) in Endicott's 4-1 victory over Suffolk.

In total, finished the week with a team-best +5 rating

In goal, Moritz posted a 2-0-0 record, a 0.99 goals against average (GAA), and a .955 save percentage (42 saves) in victories over UNE (2-1, OT) and Suffolk (4-1).

Made 21 stops in each contest to move her record to 15-4-2 on the season.

This is the fifth career CCC weekly honor for Moritz (10/30, 12/11, 1/8/24, 1/22/24), while this is Morris' third weekly honor (1/8/24 and 1/16/24).
