CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) and Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) have been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player and Goalie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Morris scored a pair of goals in No. 14 Endicott's 3-3 tie against No. 4 Middlebury on Saturday.

Her goals gave the Gulls leads of 1-0 and 3-2 before the Panthers found the equalizer with 2:07 left to play in regulation.

The multi-goal game was the first of her career at Endicott (transferred from Plattsburgh State).

In goal, Moritz made a career-high 35 saves in a 3-3 tie against No. 4 Middlebury on Saturday. The performance marked her second straight 30+ save performance and fourth this season.

This is the third career CCC weekly honor for Moritz (10/30, 12/11), while this is Morris' first.
