CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) and Lily Anderson (St. Paul, Minn.) have been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goalie and Rookie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Moritz made 52 saves with a .912 save percentage and .240 GAA in a 1-0-1 week for the Blue & Green.

In a 5-2 victory over CCC foe Salve Regina, the sophomore compiled 22 saves as she faced 24 shots (.917 save percentage) and improved her record to 7-4 on the season.

Against Williams the following day, Moritz denied 30 shots, which marks her third-best output this season, and posted a .909 save percentage.

Meanwhile, Anderson buried one goal and went 13-22 at the faceoff dot in a 1-0-1 for Endicott.

In the contest against Williams, Anderson scored on her only shot to give the Gulls a 2-0 advantage, at the time.

The tally came on a breakaway after Anderson gathered possession in the neutral zone near the Ephs' bench.

She also went 5-10 on faceoffs in the matchup.

Versus Salve Regina, Anderson finished with three shots and led the Gulls with eight faceoff victories (8-for-12).

This is the second career CCC weekly honor for Moritz (10/30), while this is Anderson's first.
