EAST BOSTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Suffolk, 1-0, on Saturday night at the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink.
The game's lone goal came with just under three minutes to play as Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) slotted home the game-winner off feeds from Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) and Quin Healy (Melrose, Mass.).
In goal, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) made 19 saves to earn the shutout victory (5-2-0).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott holds the series lead at 10-3.
- First career game-winning goal for Morris.
- Third shutout victory of the season for Moritz.
- Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the team in faceoffs going 13-of-21.
