No. 15 Women's Ice Hockey Wins Thriller 4-3 Over Western New England

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 15 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Western New England (WNE), 4-3, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

The game was a back-and-forth contest all night as Maggie Lynch (Quincy, Mass.) buried the winner after receiving a stretch pass from Abbey Agrodnia (Cape Elizabeth, Maine.) which allowed Lynch to get a one-on-one opportunity with the goalie and she buried with 21 seconds remaining.

Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) got the scoring started in the opening period as Quin Healy (Melrose, Mass.) doubled the Gulls' lead less than three minutes later. WNE would get one later in the period as the two teams went back to the locker room with Endicott leading 2-1.

Another WNE goal tied the game up before Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.) gave the Gulls the lead back a little over a minute later. WNE would again tie it up and head to the third period tied 3 apiece.

The defenses on both ends held strong until Lynch broke the deadlock and secured the victory.
