BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 15 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey fell to Nichols, 2-1, in overtime on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Lily Anderson (St. Paul, Minn.) scored the lone tally for the Gulls a little under two minutes into the game via feeds from Jess Burwell (Hooksett, N.H.) and Mackenzie Graham (Billerica, Mass.).
After a scoreless second period, the Bison netted the game-tying goal halfway through the third (7:34) and buried the game-winner just nine seconds into overtime off a turnover.
In goal, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) made 15 saves in the setback (2-1-0).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott holds the series lead at 16-3-1.
- Anderson potted her first career goal.
- Graham registered her first career assist.
- Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the team in faceoffs going 16-of-23.
