The 2023-24 academic year marks the 22nd year in which Mark Kulakowski will serve the athletic department. Kulakowski, who was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Recreation in Fall 2023, handles all aspects of facilities, contest management, recreation, and ROTC, and is the advisor to men's and women's crew and men's and women's rugby programs.

He also served as an assistant coach with the softball program for 15 years working with the infielders on the Endicott softball team.

At the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year, Kulakowski was awarded the Class of 2021 Mingotide Yearbook Dedication award for his efforts in operating the COVID-19 Testing Center and the College's COVID-19 strategic plan. The Class of 2021 Mingotide Yearbook Dedication is awarded to an individual or group for their hard work and dedication to the Endicott Community.

In his 15 spring seasons with the softball program, Kulakowski helped former head coach Mark Veilleux win 10 conference championships. Along with their 10 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championships, the softball program has made 10 trips to the NCAA Tournament (losing in the regional finals in 2014) and in 2012, the team captured the ECAC Championship.

In the past, Kulakowski served as the football program's Co-Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line coach while helping then-head coach JB Wells get the program up and running in 2002. During his tenure, he offered his coaching expertise to the running backs, special teams, and defensive line.

A graduate and four-year athlete at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, Kulakowski was the captain and Most Valuable Player of the Corsairs’ football team in 2001. Kulakowski holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from UMass Dartmouth. He also has his Master’s degree in Education from Endicott in 2005.

Kulakowski has also been the head softball coach of the Bay State Northeast Summer Team in the past. They placed first, second, or third every year he coached in the games. In 2007 and 2008, Kulakowski served as the MIAA North Sectional Softball Tournament Director. He is currently part-owner of Diamond One Softball, which offers camps and clinics to high school-aged athletes.

He currently resides in Danvers with his wife, Katy, his son, Macklin, and daughter, Maggie.
