Men’s Cross Country Ranks 10th Overall At Suffolk Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's cross country team finished 10th overall out of 24 teams at the Suffolk Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.

Colby won the meet with 38 points, while Division I UMass Lowell (94), Bowdoin (112), UMass Dartmouth (158), and Maine-Farmington (180) rounded out the top-5.

Josh Lehmann (Gorham, Maine) led the Gulls (290 points) with a personal best time of 26:31.2 on the 8-kilometer course.

Caleb Nye (Hinesburg, Vt.) clocked a time of 27:03.4 for 45th place, while Connor Coffin (Scarborough, Maine) and Cooper Downey (Hudson, N.H.) followed with times of 27:55.8 (82nd) and 28:01.2 (85th, PR), respectively.

Andrew Lauzon (North Andover, Mass.) rounded out the top-5 with a time of 29:05.1 (121st).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • The top-5 averaged a time of 27:43 (spread 2:33).
  • Hunter Boucher (Lowell, Mass.), Dominick McDonough (Woburn, Mass.), and Jon Rodrigues (Walpole, Mass.) all registered personal best times (134th, 29:24.8 | 185th, 31:10.6 | 190th, 31:20.7).
  • The 2023 edition of the Suffolk Invitational was the largest to date as 620 athletes from 32 schools competed in today's meet, combined between the men's and women's sides.

Endicott competes in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday, October 28 at Gordon College.
