Men’s Tennis Lands Four All-CCC Honorees

BEVERLY, Mass. — Four members of the Endicott men's tennis program have earned postseason honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office today.

The honorees were Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany), Antonio Marsallo (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.), and Oliver Pope (South Dartmouth, Mass.). 


ALL-CCC SINGLES

CONRAD KADEL | SO. | SECOND TEAM

Kadel posted seven wins (three conference) on the season with 13 matches played at the No. 1 slot. He posted a 3-2 record in conference matches, all at the No. 1 spot. 

This is Kadel's first all-conference CCC singles award.

ANTONIO MARSALLO | SO. | SECOND TEAM

Marsallo notched seven singles victories across the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 positions in the lineup. The sophomore thrived at No. 3 with a 3-1 record, while going 2-2 in CCC contests. 

This is Marsallo's second All-CCC honor (2023 - Third Team)

GEORGE DANES | JR. | THIRD TEAM

Danes competed in a team-high 16 singles matches earning three wins in apiece at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots this season. The Old Lyme, Conn. native generated a 3-1 record in conference action.

This is Danes second All-CCC honor (2023 - Second Team)

OLIVER POPE | JR. | THIRD TEAM

Pope registered a team-best nine singles triumphs, including a perfect 2-0 record at No. 3. Otherwise, the junior went 1-0 at No. 1, 2-2 at No. 4, and 4-1 at No. 5. Pope went 9-3 in overall matches and 5-1 in conference tilts. 

This is his first all-conference CCC singles award. 


ALL-CCC DOUBLES

CONRAD KADEL/ANTONIO MARSALLO | SECOND TEAM

The duo managed a squad-best 6-5 overall record along with an unblemished 3-0 record in CCC flights. Kadel and Marshall played all of their matches at the top spot, going 5-4 in those contests.

This is Marsallo's first career All-CCC Doubles award and Kadel's second overall (2023, Third Team).
