SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR | ALL-CCC FIRST-TEAM

Tiago Frazao | Sr. | F | Trumbull, Conn.

Frazao is the second Scholar-Athlete of the Year honoree in program history. He joins Evan Couchot '19 (Mason, Ohio) on the prestigious list.

The Trumbull native currently has a 3.91 cumulative GPA as an international business major (minor in Spanish).

He is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society, Endicott Scholars Program, LEAP for Education, Inc., and the EC Lead group. He also studied abroad in Madrid, Spain last spring.

Last season, he was a United Soccer Coaches Third-Team Academic All-America selection, CoSIDA/CSC Academic All-District performer, and Second-Team All-Region in 2022.

Frazao's internship experiences at Barnum Financial Group included being a wealth strategies intern alongside the advisor scholar internship program.

His learning experiences have varied from constructing portfolios, life insurance sales pitches, and entering clients' financial data into an eMoney platform and Salesforce, among other duties.

On the pitch, Frazao started every game and produced nine goals and five assists for 23 points.

The Trumbull native ranked third in points, fourth in assists, and fifth in goals in the CCC this fall.

This is his second career All-CCC First-Team selection (2022, first team) and third career All-Conference honor (2021, third team).

ALL-CCC SECOND TEAM
