Kenkel, Nastasi Step Down From Men’s Rugby Coaching Positions

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's rugby head coach Dave Kenkel and associate head coach Charles Nastasi '14 M'15 have resigned from their respective positions with the program, effective today.

"My goal at the beginning of the program was to create a fast and entertaining game. I believe we accomplished that goal. I want to thank my assistant coaches and student-athletes for believing in our system, which helped us attain success on and off the pitch," said Kenkel.

He continued.

"Our 180-39-2 record and 10 conference championships are outstanding statistics for our rugby club, but the real wins will continue beyond that as we have seen with the success of our alumni outside of college. Shout out to all the parents and Mrs. K, without their support, we couldn't have had such quality results."

A search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
