Men's Lacrosse Handles Montclair St., 18-8; Pagluiso Registers 200th Career Point

MONTCLAIR, N.J. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Montclair St., 18-8, in non-conference action at Sprague Field.

Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) led the way for the Gulls with five goals and an assist. 

Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.)Jack Fiorillo (Mineola, N.Y.)Colt Green (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.)Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.), and Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.) all registered a pair of tallies. Mason Grasso (Bow, N.H.)Josh Newall (Shelton, Conn.), and Tyler Williams (Tigrad, Ore.) rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece.

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) stopped 13 shots to improve his record to 6-1 this season. Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) made one save in 10:53 of action.

Trailing 3-2 at the end of the first quarter, Endicott outscored the hosts 8-2 in the second quarter to take a commanding 10-5 lead going into halftime. Graap scored three times in the quarter and Pagluiso registered his 200th career point whe he assisted on Graap's third goal.

From there, the Blue and Green secured the road vicotry thanks to an 8-3 scoring advantage in the second half. The Gulls defense held the Red Hawks to just 15 shots in the final 30 minutes.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is now 4-1 all-time versus Montclair St.
  • Tied a season high with 18 goals
  • Pagluiso is the 12th student-athlete to reach 200 or more points in his career
  • The visitors outshot the hosts 56-34 in the contest.

Endicott (6-1) starts CCC play as they visit Western New England on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 PM. Montclair St. (2-4) hosts Southwestern College on Sunday, March 24 at 11:00 AM.
