Estes racked up 11 goals and three assists in the Gulls’ perfect 3-0 week against conference opponents. He opened the week with two goals in a 25-8 win at Salve Regina, added three goals and two assists in a 20-6 victory at the University of New England, and closed out play with a career-high six goals and an assist in an 18-9 victory over New England College. The win snapped a seven game win streak for the Pilgrims and kept the Gulls unblemished conference record (9-0) intact.
Ozycz averaged 14.3 ground balls per game and controlled 73% of his face-offs (61-of-84) as the Blue and Green soared to a trio of conference wins. He collected 12 ground balls in a 25-8 win over Salve, added 14 ground balls in a 20-6 triumph over UNE, and recorded 17 ground balls in an 18-9 victory over NEC.
Endicott climbed two spots to No. 18 in latest USILA Division III Coaches Poll and currently sit at 9-2 overall. The Gulls welcome the No. 1 ranked team in the country, Tufts University, on Tuesday for a pivotal nonconference showdown under the lights at Endicott Stadium at 7:00 pm.
