Men’s Golf Finishes Second At CCC Championship

GRAFTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's golf team finished second overall out of eight teams at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship, hosted at the Highfields Golf and Country Club.

Roger Williams took home the 2023 CCC Championship behind a two-day (Oct. 19-20) score of 600 (299-301). 

Endicott (606, 303-303), Nichols (616), Suffolk (633), and Gordon (640) rounded out the top-5, while the University of New England (669), Western New England (673), and Wentworth (691) concluded the remainder of the championship results.

Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.) highlighted the Gulls with a third place finish (tied, +3, 147, 74-73) on the par 72 course (6,655 yardage).

Connor LaCross (Upton, Mass.) followed with a fifth place performance (+7, 151, 77-74), while Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine) also earned a spot in the top-10 (tied sixth, +8, 152, 75-77).

Will Pierce (Melrose, Mass.) and Frank Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.) concluded the Gulls' lineup in 12th (+12, 156, 77-79) and 13th (+13, 157, 78-79), respectively.

BEYOND THE SCORECARD

  • The Gulls produced a tournament-best -4 score on par 5s.
  • Endicott finished first in total pars (102) and second in birdies (24).
  • Burke ranked first overall among the field with a -6 score on par 5s.
  • Pierce tied for the tournament-high with 24 pars.
