Stephen Haladyna enters his first year as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2023-24.

Haladyna comes to Endicott from crosstown rival Gordon College where he served in an identical role with the Fighting Scots' men's basketball program.

At Gordon, Haladyna was in charge of recruiting, scouting, and evaluating student-athletes. He also assisted with individual workouts, skill development sessions, practice planning, film sessions, team meetings, opponent scouts, game prep, travel plans, scheduling, and recruiting visits.

Haladyna's previous experiences include three years (2016-19) in the NBA Referee Development Program working in the G-League (referee operations) and WNBA (strategy/analytics/referee operations).

Following his time with the NBA, Haladyna joined the Tufts men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant (2019-21).

Haladyna helped the Jumbos take home their first NESCAC title and advance to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Division III tournament.

Prior to Gordon, Haladyna worked for Zero Gravity Basketball as the Director of the ZGXL Circuit. He was in charge of directing and operating all aspects of the top Exposure League in the Northeast for 100 independent grassroots basketball teams.

The South Hamilton, Mass. native was a four-year member of the Tufts men's basketball program before returning as an assistant coach.

During his time as a student-athlete, he served as a two-year captain and reached the 1,000 career point plateau. He currently ranks inside the top-25 in scoring and 15th in three-pointers made (126).

Haladyna graduated from Tufts in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
