Weston, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team improved to 9-6 (4-3 TCCC) following an 8-1 defeat of conference opponent Regis College on Saturday morning. The Gulls saw three players scored multiple goals and two players have more than one assist.

\#Joanne Reid\# (Clarksville, Md.), \#Caitlin Keating\# (York, Maine), and \#Taylor Matties\# (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) each scored twice in a game that saw Endicott outshoot Regis 20-2.

Reid hit the back of the cage first in the 5^th minute of the match, unassisted for her sixth goal of the season. The senior would net her seventh of the season later in the second half with an assist to junior \#Alexandra Parese\# (Wilton, Conn.)

Also scoring in the first half were Keating, twice, \#Lindsey Mills\# (Arlington, Mass.), and Matties. Keating’s goals were assisted by Reid and \#Stacie Teevens\# (Westborough, Mass.) and were her first two goals of the season. Mills now has seven goals in 2010 after her unassisted mark.

Teevens recorded her second assist on Matties’ first goal of the game. Matties would later score her eight goal of the season, unassisted. 

The final goal of the game was by \#Allison Forgues\# (Auburn, Maine) whose second tally of the year was assisted by Parese, her second of the game.

Regis managed to score a lone goal in the final moments of the first half as freshman Christine O’Toole (Wareham, Mass.) converted a pass from Candace Ferry (Malden, Mass.) to find the back of the net. 

The goalkeeper for the Pride, freshman Morgan Mitchell (Ashburnham, Mass.) recorded 19 saves in the cage. The Endicott combination of \#Lizetta Solarik\# (Carmel, N.Y.) and \#Rachel Socolow\# (Westford, Mass.) faced just two shots and had to make just one save for the win.

The Gulls will travel to Standish, Maine on October 20 to take on St. Joseph’s College starting at 3:00 pm. Regis hosts Gordon College on October 23 in their final regular season match.
