SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Endicott College field hockey player Anna Giannoni was honored as the Offensive and Rookie of the Week this week in the TCCC as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. Giannoni was able to tally 10 points during the week while helping the Gulls move to 8-1 on the season by going 3-0 this week.

The week began for the freshman forward with the game winning goal in the second half against the Bridgewater State College Bears as the Gulls were able to pull out a victory 2-1. On Saturday, Giannoni was one of four Endicott players to score as they beat Regis College 5-0 in TCCC action. Finally, on Sunday, Giannoni was able to score a hat-trick including the game winning goal in the second overtime of a 4-3 upset win against \#16 ranked Babson. Giannoni has now won the Rookie of the Week award for the second time this season while winning Offensive Player of the Week for the first time.

Giannoni and the Gulls look to continue their seven game winning streak when they host Salem State on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on the campus of Endicott College.
