BEVERLY, MA - Jennifer Rheaume (Blackstone, MA/Blackstone-Millville) scored two goals to lift the Gulls to a 4-1 victory over Salem State College.
EC took an early lead and never looked back when Jennifer Beech (Devonshire, Bermuda/Saltas Grammar) scored late in the first half to give Endicott a 1-0 lead. The score would remain 1-0 for the rest of the first half, but the Gulls would add three goals in the second half to earn the win.
Lindsay Fallon (Southampton, NY/Southampton) added a second goal for the Gulls when she deflected a shot by Beech past the Salem State goalie. Rheaume would then add two goals midway through the second half to give EC a 4-0 lead.
Salem State got on the board late in the game when Grace Ghioto redirected a pass from Alyson Slaven into the back of the Endicott net making the score 4-1.
The Lady Vikings fall to 2-4, while the Gulls improve to 6-3 (1-1 CCC). Endicott will next take on Nichols College on Saturday afternoon at home.
