EC field hockey pushed it's way to a 4-0 victory over Framingham State College at FS. The EC offense was lead by senior captain McCormack who scored the first and game winning goal twenty-nine minutes into the first half.
Endicott continued their game intensity into the second half posting three goals. Junior back Ashley Wallace cranked the second goal past FS's goalkeeper Lyndsey McKearney on a well-executed penalty corner. EC pushed out the 4-0 win with the last two goals scored by seniors Kim Doody and KD Balentine, both their first of the season.
EC's defense was lead by sophomore goalkeeper Erin Curry. Curry brought home the first shut out of her career.
EC field hockey will play their season opener at Endicott College on Saturday September 11 at 11am. After the game there will be an EC Gulls celebration at the newly built Endicott Lodge. Family, friends, and fans of Endicott are welcome!
