EC Had a Strong Showing at the Stonehill Show

Endicott riders had a strong showing in the Stonehill College Show on Saturday, despite being caught in a scoring problem. The question, when answered by the Ethics Committee in the region, will decide whether Endicott ties for Reserve Champion (second) with Wheaton or comes in third.

The show started slowly for the team, with a spate of 4th and 5th places in Open and Intermediate, but came on strong in the Novice, Walk-Trot-Canter and Walk-Trot level with blue ribbons for our point riders. This strong showing catapulted the team from the bottom to near the top in team standings.

Megan Piermarini continued her winning ways with a first in Novice Fences. Chelsea Conant, a freshman, garnered the blue (1st) in Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter while returning rider Amber Wilkins won first in Walk-Trot.

Endicott rides next on Sunday November 7, at a show hosted by Boston College. EC will host its own show on November 20th at Springtide Farm at Twisdenwood in Georgetown, MA.
