McDermott Selected To National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Staff

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott sophomore Erin McDermott (Abington, Mass.) was recently selected to be a member of the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) staff for this summer.

NCA summer camp instructors are hand-selected from leading colleges and universities across the country through an intensive tryout process.

Over the next few months, McDermott will travel to several NCA camps to mentor and teach younger cheerleaders different sport-based and team-building skills.

"Erin is the perfect student-athlete for this role due to her dedication and love for this sport and her constant willingness to help others," said Endicott cheerleading head coach Emily Dellisola '20. "This is such an amazing opportunity and Erin is so deserving of this role. Not only will she be able to make an impact on many young cheerleaders, but she will also contribute to the success of our team and program next season because of her experience with the NCA this summer. We are so excited for her and cannot wait to see Erin follow her dreams with the National Cheerleading Association!"
