Van Emon Becomes Fourth Gull To Play In Cape League

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior lefty Gabe Van Emon (Lexington, Mass.) became the fourth student-athlete in program history to compete in the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) last weekend.

Van Emon made a relief appearance for the Harwich Mariners against the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox on Saturday, June 24.

In that outing, he tossed 2 2/3 innings, while yielding four hits, two runs (earned), and four walks alongside two strikeouts.

Endicott won a program record 45 games en route to making its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III College World Series.

The Gulls also were ranked as high as No. 4 nationally throughout the season (program record).
