Baseball Concludes Historic 2023 Season Ranked Inside Top-10 Of Both National Polls

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball team has been ranked inside the top-10 on the final Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (CBN) and D3baseball.com polls, respectively.

The Gulls were slotted fifth on the CBN Poll, a year-end program record, and sixth overall via D3baseball.com. The previous school record was No. 12 on the 2022 CBN final poll.

Endicott won a program record 45 games this past season en route to making its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III College World Series.

The Gulls also were ranked as high as No. 4 nationally throughout the season (program record). 

Endicott's year-end NCAA rankings included the following top-25 marks:

  • Doubles (5th, 120)
  • Earned Run Average (2nd, 3.25)
  • Fielding Percentage (2nd, .978)
  • Hit By Pitch (16th, 94)
  • Hits (3rd, 639)
  • Hits Allowed Per Nine Innings (1st, 7.56)
  • Home Runs (7th, 65)
  • Home Runs Per Game (25th, 1.20)
  • Runs (8th, 461)
  • Sacrifice Flies (3rd, 40)
  • Shutouts (3rd, 8)
  • Strikeout-To-Walk Ratio (8th, 2.87)
  • WHIP (1st, 1.18)
  • Win-Loss Percentage (4th, .833)
  • Walks Allowed Per Nine Innings (16th, 3.07)
