BEVERLY, Mass. –  The No. 5/9 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team defeated No. 12/13 nationally ranked Eastern Conn. St., 4-1, in non-conference action on Monday evening at North Field. 

WP (5-1): Chris Jenkins (Mansfield, Mass.) — 3.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K
LP (6-2) Nolan Lincoln (Londonderry, N.H.)  — 3 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 2 K

Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Kyle Grabowski (Westfield, Mass.) belted a bomb to left field that sent two home for a 3-1 advantage at the time. 

From there, Nicolas Notarangelo (Taunton, Mass.) singled to left center to send Caleb Shpur (East Canaan, Conn.) home and add an insurance run for the Gulls in the bottom of the seventh inning. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

• Endicott earned its first in the all-time series versus Eastern Conn. St. (1-3). 
• Grabowski is tied for second on the team in home runs (7).
• The Gulls are a 15-0 at The Nest.
