No. 6/14 Endicott Tops Gordon, 9-4

WENHAM, Mass. — The No. 6/14 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team defeated crosstown rival Gordon, 9-4, in conference action on Tuesday evening at J. Tech White Field.

WP (3-0): Brady Stuart (Hudson, Mass.) — 4 1/3 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K
LP (1-4): Brandon Bloom (Peabody, Mass.) — 3 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 3 K

The Gulls took a 6-1 lead in the second inning and never looked back.

Danny MacDougall (Taunton, Mass.) tied up the contest at 1-1 with an RBI groundout, before John Mulready (Peabody, Mass.) and Caleb Shpur (East Canaan, Conn.) mashed a three-run homer and a two-run shot, respectively, to round out the scoring.

Nicolas Notarangelo (Taunton, Mass.) and TJ Liponis (Scarborough, Maine) also drove in runs with doubles in the fourth and seventh to highlight the rest of the offense.
