BEVERLY, Mass. – Two student-athletes from the No. 10/10 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team have earned weekly awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league earlier today.

Chris Jenkins (Mansfield, Mass.) earned Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time in his colligate career.

Shpur had an incredible week this week, batting .500/.625/1.600 as Endicott went 3-0.

Shpur had five hits this week with four of them going of extra bases. In a 20-0 win over Brandeis, Shpur went 3-for-4 with a triple and two home runs, driving in six and scoring three times.

He followed that up with a 2-for-4 performance in a 6-1 win over Bates in which he hit another home run. The Gulls star was held hitless in his final game of the week against No. 28 Pomona-Pitzer, but he could not be held off the base paths as he reached three times via walk.

In addition to his power, Shpur also showed off his speed, swiping five bases without being caught. He finished the week with five runs scored and eight RBI.

This is Shpur's second career CCC honor.

He tossed six scoreless innings in total while giving up only four hits and striking out five.

He then had his best appearance of the week against No. 28 Pomona-Pitzer, going 3 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out two.

This is Jenkins' first career CCC honor.
