Michael Clapprood '25 enters his second year as a sports information student assistant in 2023-24.

Clapprood is responsible for keeping in-game statistics and writing press releases/feature stories for various sports, as assigned.

He also aids the sports information staff with social media strategy and serves as a public address announcer for football, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse for the gameday management staff.

During his undergraduate career, Clapprood has completed athletic communications internships at Providence College (2022-24) and Rutgers University (2023-24).

Clapprood also was a member of the baseball team from 2022-23.

The Gulls posted an 85-19 overall record (.817) and a 19-3 mark in conference play (.864) capturing two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships and advancing as far as the NCAA Division III College World Series along the way.

He is expected to graduate from Endicott in 2025 with his Bachelor of Science in Communication, with an emphasis on sport communication.
