CNE Announces Women's Tennis All-40th Team

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) is thrilled to announce its first All-40th Anniversary Team of the year, releasing the All-40th Women’s Tennis team on Thursday afternoon. The list features 42 prominent names in the league’s history of women’s tennis.

The minimum criteria for the list began with at least two First Team All-Conference selections or at least one Player of the Year honor. Both current and former league members can earn recognition on the teams.

Highlighting the list are multiple former Players of the Year, including Amarie Settiwongse and Anna Dyakiv from Nichols College, who combined for seven consecutive awards from 2013 through 2019. In addition, former Roger Williams standout Emma Place - who won two conference Player of the Year honors - is the most recent winner of that award on the list.

The 40th Anniversary campaign runs parallel to the league’s new naming and branding initiative that was launched in August. This celebration also serves as a platform to highlight the conference's achievements, honor its history, and generate enthusiasm for future endeavors.

Originally established in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference and rebranded in 2024 as the Conference of New England, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference with 10 full-member and five associate-member institutions across New England.
