2023 Women’s Tennis Tournament Starts Tuesday

BEVERLY, Mass. – The 2023 Commonwealth Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Tournament begins on Tuesday, October 17 with the First Round match. The Tournament Champion will be crowned on Saturday, October 21. Visit the Championships Central page for more information.

Endicott won the regular season and earned the top seed in the Tournament, boasting an undefeated slate of 6-0 in conference play and 8-3 overall. The Gulls claimed their fourth-consecutive CCC regular-season title and are pursuing their fourth-straight Tournament title. Endicott has played in the Championship match every year since 2011-12.

2023 Tournament Seeding:
No. 1 seed: Endicott (6-0)
No. 2 seed: Nichols (5-1)
No. 3 seed: Roger Williams (4-2)
No. 4 seed: Gordon (3-3)
No. 5 seed: Western New England (2-4)

4 p.m. | Tuesday, Oct. 17 – First Round
Match No. 1: No. 5 WNE at No. 4 Gordon
No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 seeds earn bye.

Thursday, Oct. 19 – Semifinals
2 p.m. | Match No. 2: Winner of Match No. 1 at No. 1 Endicott
3:30 p.m. | Match No. 3: No. 3 Roger Williams at No. 2 Nichols

Saturday, Oct. 21 – Championship
Match No. 4: Winner of Match No. 2 vs. Winner of Match No. 3
Host and time TBA.

All matches are hosted by the higher seed.

The Championship match winner earns the league’s automatic qualifier into the 2024 NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championship in the spring.
