Endicott Falls to UNE 2-1 in OT

BIDDEFORD, Maine - The Endicott women's soccer team fell to the University of New England by a 2-1 final in overtime on Tuesday night to wrap up the 2019 regular season. The Gulls finished the regular season with a 9-7-2 record overall and a 4-3-1 record in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play as all teams await the release of the conference tournament seedings.

The Gulls opened the scoring in the 20th minute when Elizabeth Masucci (Norwell, Mass.) found the back of the net with her high shot in the center of the frame. The assist on Masucci's first career goal went to Chloe Waldron (Harwinton, Conn.), which ties her for the team lead with four.

The Nor'Easters would answer back in the 31st minute to tie the score at 1-1, a score that would hold true through the end of regulation, forcing the match into overtime.

Both squads would have opportunities in the extra time, but it would be the hosts who would capitalize first, as the Nor'Easters buried a shot in the 98th minute to secure the 2-1 overtime win.
