Women’s Rugby Completes Comeback Against Salve Regina, 45-38

BEVERLY, Mass. – Trailing 19-5 at halftime, the Endicott club women's rugby team rallied in the second half to defeat Salve Regina University, 45-38, on Sunday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

Amanda Poulin guided the Gulls on offense with four tries, while Shannon O'Malley added two, and Natalie Shambo and Amanda Wisbeck contributed one try apiece. Wisbeck also was named the "Woman of the Match" for her all-around efforts in the comeback victory.

Meanwhile, Kelsey Joyce had five conversions to highlight the rest of the offense.

Endicott (1-0) hosts Plymouth State University on Saturday, September 21 at 5 PM.
