CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott softball student-athlete Maria Hanchuk (South Windsor, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Hanchuk was strong in her 2022 debut, taking a perfect game into the fifth inning against Plattsburgh. She wound up with a complete-game one-hitter, while striking out 10 over seven innings. She also walked two.

Hanchuk allowed just two runners to reach scoring position and both did so with two outs in the inning.

Today's announcement marks Hanchuk's third CCC Pitcher of the Week honor. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (2-2) plays Eastern Conn. St. (11:15 AM) and Rowan (1:30 PM) tomorrow in Clermont, Florida.
