Men’s Cross Country Finishes 20th Overall At Keene State Invitational
KEENE, N.H. – The Endicott men's cross country team ranked 20th overall out of 26 teams at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday Afternoon.
Williams won the meet with a team score of 31 points, as the Ephs took five out of the top-10 spots in today's race.
Tufts (32), Colby (89), Plymouth State (193), host Keene State (202), Amherst (212), Franklin Pierce (220), Eastern Connecticut State (250), and Bridgewater State (301) rounded out the remaining top-10.
Dawson Romito (Boxford, Mass.) crossed the finish line first for the Gulls on the 8-kilometer course, running a time of 26:27.60 (56th overall).
Micah Erickson (Bismarck, N.D.), Jonah Potach (Marblehead, Mass.), Jonathan Rodrigues (Walpole, Mass.), and Dimitri Kontos (Lexington, Mass.) capped off the Blue and Green's scoring results in 141st (28:10.90), 201st (29:48.20), 203rd (29:50.30), and 225th (30:39.3).
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Endicott's top-5 average was 28:59.
- Romito's time was a personal best.
- The Blue and Green topped Conference of New England (CNE) foe Nichols (21st, 598).
