HYANNIS, Mass. – The Endicott College men’s volleyball team had its 2010 season come to end in the NECVA Quarterfinals as the No. 5 seeded Gulls fell to the No. 4 seeded Philadelphia Biblical University, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon in Hyannis, Mass. The Blue and Green wrap up their season with a program best 28-8 record while the Crimson Eagles improve to 22-10 and advance to the NECVA Finals where they will face off with No. 15 seeded Nazareth College.

Endicott fell by set scores of 30-21, 30-26, and 30-25 to the Crimson Eagles.

The Gulls were led by \#A.J. Witkofsky\# (Scotia, N.Y.) who posted and four blocks in the contest. Classmates \#John Emery\# (Westford, Mass.) and \#James Sliva\# (Monroe, Conn.) each added seven kills apiece while senior \#Ben Foster\# (Penfield, N.Y.) handed out 34 assists in the setback. Foster also added a team-high 11 digs while Witkofsky posted nine digs of his own.

Philadelphia Biblical had a pair of players post double-digit kills as Leandro Dueck notched a game-high 18 kills while Justin Brubaker added 13 kills. Dueck and Brubaker also led the team defensively as they posted 13 and 17 digs each, respectively. Drew Dillon helped run the offense as he dished out a match-high 48 assists in the win.

Endicott wraps up its season having established a program-record 28 wins. The Gulls also grabbed their second consecutive NECVA New England regular season championship and graduate a senior class that has basically re-written the record books for the program.
