BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II program Saint Michael's College, 8-1, on Friday evening at the Longfellow New Hampshire Tennis and Swim Club.

Cooper Walters (Madeira Beach, Fla.) picked up the lone win for the Gulls at the No. 5 singles position by via a hard-fought a 6-7 (2-7), 6-4, 10-8 decision.

"Saint Michael's improved a lot from last year and really deserved this result today," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "Our guys played tough and I'm encouraged by our level after one week of training."

Endicott (0-4) returns to action on Saturday, February 22 against UMass Boston at the Weymouth Tennis Club in Weymouth, Massachusetts at 12 PM. Saint Michael's (6-1) hosts conference foe Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, February 18 at 3 PM.
