Title: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Dan Morris enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Endicott men's lacrosse program in 2019-20.

Morris comes to Endicott after a standout four-year career at Maryland, which is highlighted by his integral role in the Terrapins' 2017 NCAA Division I national championship run. In that season, Morris went 16-3 overall and compiled 200 saves, a .548 save percentage, an 8.75 goals against average (GAA), and 24 ground balls in 1,133 minutes played (all career-highs). 

Meanwhile, Morris' other career honors at Maryland include being a team captain in 2018, four Academic All-Big Ten awards, USILA and Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-America accolades, a Senior CLASS Award First Team All-American honor, a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar (3.7+ GPA) award, and selections to the All-Big Ten (2nd Team), NCAA All-Tournament, and Big Ten All-Tournament Teams.

Meanwhile, Morris stills ranks seventh all-time in career saves at Maryland finished his four-year career with the following numbers: 52 games played, 37 started, 410 saves, 339 goals against, a .547 save percentage, 1,213 minutes played, an 8.61 GAA, a 30-7 overall record and 41 ground balls.

Upon his graduation from Maryland in 2018, Morris was selected with the 50th overall pick in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Draft by the New York Lizards.

Morris currently plays goalie for the Premier Lacrosse League's (PLL) Whipsnakes LC and is the Director of Peak Goalie.
