Men’s Lacrosse Downs Roger Williams On Senior Day, 12-8

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Roger Williams, 12-8, in conference action on Tuesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Prior to tonight's contest in a pre-game ceremony, seniors Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.), Tom DeSilva (Massapequa, N.Y.), Matthew Faucher (Western Springs, Ill.), Grant Garrity (Duxbury, Mass.), Cam Goodrich (Raynham, Mass.), Teddy Hannon (Duxbury, Mass.), Justin Horine (Fairfield, Conn.), Chris Reilly (Westwood, Mass.), Hayden Souza (West Hartford, Conn.), Kenneth Speak (Melbourne, Australia), and Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) were all honored for their contributions towards the men's lacrosse program and the Endicott community.

Meanwhile, as far as the game went, Mike Sudora (Monroe, Conn.) led the Gulls on offense with a hat-trick.

Endicott also received a pair of tallies from Neal Parry (Marshfield, Mass.) and Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.), while Ben Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), Andrew Soucy (Andover, Mass.), Nick Arcadipane (Groveland, Mass.), and Sam Abate (Beverly, Mass.) all registered solo tallies in the win.

Leading 5-3 at the half, the Gulls put the game away in the third quarter via a seven-goal effort, which was highlighted by three unanswered goals from 8:40-5:51 after Roger Williams cut its deficit to 7-5 at the 10:03 mark. Soucy (8:40), Parry (8:01), and Abate (5:51) guided the Gulls during the 3-0 run.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott improved to 25-5 all-time against Roger Williams.
  • The Gulls extended their winning streak to nine straight games versus the Hawks.
  • Dean made 12 saves in net to improve to 7-7 on the season.
  • He has now stopped 10 or more shots in nine contests this year.
  • Roger Williams had won eight of its last nine games prior to tonight.
  • W. Clark also dished out game-high/career-high three assists.
