Men’s Lacrosse Falls To Western New England, 10-7

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team lost to conference rival Western New England University (WNEU), 10-7, on Saturday evening at Golden Bear Stadium.

Trailing 4-3 at halftime, WNEU produced a 5-0 run in the second stanza, which stretched itself all the way to the 11:47 mark of the fourth quarter, and held onto that lead the rest of the way.

Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and Nick Arcadipane (Groveland, Mass.) led the Gulls offensively with a pair of goals, respectively. 

Meanwhile, Ben Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), Andrew Soucy (Andover, Mass.), and Neal Parry (Marshfield, Mass.) all scored solo tallies to round out the goal scorers for Endicott. 

The Gulls also saw Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) make 12 saves and Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) go 9-for-16 at the face-off X in the loss. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Golden Bears pushed their winning streak to three games today.
  • WNEU is 4-2 at home this season.
  • Endicott saw its four-game winning streak come to a close.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (6-7, 5-1 CCC) hosts Roger Williams on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 PM on Senior Day. WNEU (9-4, 6-0 CCC) travels to Curry next Tuesday at 4 PM.
