Arcadipane, Sutherland, Yannone Earn CCC Athlete Of The Week Awards

BEVERLY, Mass. – Three Endicott men's lacrosse student-athletes earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the conference earlier today. Nick Arcadipane (Groveland, Mass.) was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) was tabbed as Rookie of the Week, and Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) earned Specialist of the Week. 

Arcadipane helped Endicott solidify its spot as the No. 2 seed in the CCC Championship Tournament with an 8-7 overtime win over Nichols. He contributed four goals to the effort on eight shots, five of which were on-target. 

Meanwhile, first-year attacker Sutherland handed out a career-high six assists versus Nichols. His single-game assist total also tied for fifth all-time in program history. 

Lastly, Yannone was also a major contributor during the Gulls' overtime victory over Nichols, winning 14-of-18 (77.8 percent) faceoff chances. He also recorded a game-high 12 ground balls.

Endicott (6-10, 6-2 CCC) hosts Roger Williams in the CCC semifinals at 4 PM on Tuesday, May 1.
