  • SENIOR SEND-OFF: Endicott Men’s Ice Hockey Program

    BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men’s ice hockey team finished its 2019-20 season with a 22-5-0 overall record and a 16-2-0 conference mark before the NCAA’s decision to cancel all remaining winter and spring championships was finalized. The Gulls also captured their second Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship and finished the year nationally ranked at No. 7 overall. More importantly, the team’s success was spearheaded by four seniors — Jason Kalinowski (Stamford, Conn.), Jacob Gammelgaard (Esbjerg, Denmark), Luke Rodgers (Clarkston, Mich.), James Winkler (York, Maine) — whose respective legacies will forever have an impact on the program.     BEVERLY, Mass. – The rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19 requires extraordinary changes to our typical schedule as we remain focused on the health and welfare of our student-athletes, staff, and the entire Endicott community. We are in constant contact with our local health authorities and are following all CDC and NCAA guidelines regarding this fluid situation. While we have no diagnosed cases of COVID-19 at Endicott or within the City of Beverly, at this time, it is vital that we, as a community, are proactive regarding these unprecedented circumstances. The aim of our discussions has been to move as quickly and thoughtfully as possible. In the coming days, we are asking for your understanding and consideration as we continue to evaluate our next steps.
  • CCC Statement Regarding COVID-19

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – With the health and safety of our student-athletes in mind, as well as the welfare of our campus communities as a whole, the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Board of Directors, has come to the difficult decision to cancel all athletic competition. Institutions with teams that have returned from spring break trips will cancel athletic competition immediately. Institutions with teams currently on spring break trips will cancel athletic competitions upon the completion of those respective trips.
  • NCAA Cancels Remaining Winter & Spring Championships

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today, NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors canceled the Division I men’s and women’s 2020 basketball tournaments, as well as all remaining winter and spring NCAA championships. This decision is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, our ability to ensure the events do not contribute to the spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such events at any time during this academic year given ongoing decisions by other entities.
