BEVERLY, Mass. — Former Endicott men's ice hockey student-athlete Tommy Besinger (Milton, Mass.) scored his first career professional goal last night for the Southern Professional Hockey League's (SPHL) Evansville Thunderbolts in a 5-4 overtime win against the Quad City Storm.

Besinger's first career tally came at 9:32 of the second period when he swerved through the slot and snuck a low backhanded shot past Quad City's goalie to make it a one goal game.

Besinger is the first Gull in program history to score in his pro debut.
